Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and support the company's continued success.
Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, P&L reports, and cash flow projections.
Manage fuel expense tracking, fleet cost analysis, and DOT compliance reporting.
Ensure proper job costing, expense allocations, and profitability analysis per truck/load.
Lead a small team of accounting professionals and support staff.
Work closely with the operations and fleet management teams to track expenses and optimize cost efficiency.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Maintain compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and trucking industry accounting standards.
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in trucking, transportation, or logistics.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or Trucking-Specific Accounting Software (e.g., Axon, McLeod, TMW, ProTransport).
Strong understanding of fuel tax reporting (IFTA), freight billing, and fleet cost tracking.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
